Saturday, April 19th Alberto Vizcaino presents in Can Monroig his new album “Brave New World” along with his Mallorcan band “Los Insomnes”, Carlos Marroig on guitar, LLucía Gomila on bass and Jaume Trotsky on drums.
The former leader of the group “La Isla”, a reference of the music of the 80s in Mallorca, has collaborated with groups such as “La puerta del ruido”, “Nei Tan”, “Free radicals”; singers such as Jaume Sisa, Luis Eduardo Aute or Manuel Cantilo and has sung solo or accompanied by his own band during the last years.
He has just released his 5th solo album “Mundo Feliz” (CdRock). In this recording he pays tribute to Kevin Ayers including a version of his classic “Lady Rachel”. He also performs, in duet with the author, a song from another of his references, “Tu atención” by Miguel Cantilo.
This is the third time that Alberto performs at can Monroig, in an intimate atmosphere, very close to the public and with a live performance that never disappoints.
Can Monroig. House-architecture and interior design studio restored by Marie-Noëlle Ginard and Robert López Hinton. It regularly offers dance, theater, music and other cultural activities through the Can Monroig Cultural Association.
