This is the restoration of a house that was in a state of ruin and only the old stone and earth walls remained standing.
The house was rebuilt to accommodate an upstairs studio and a garage to house the owner's collection of vintage motorcycles.
Seeking to expand as much as possible, it was decided to reinforce the house with several iron porticos.
To achieve sufficiently large spaces, it was decided to structurally reinforce the house with several iron porticos.
As a result, industrial solutions coexist in the same space with old masonry walls, wooden beams and traditional finishes. In the constructions added to the original volume, the same type of stone construction was maintained, reusing demolition material from the construction site such as stone and earth.
