Who are we?
Can Monroig is the commercial name of our company, taken from the historical name of our studio house in Inca, Mallorca. As a company we have been registered since 1997 as Pollentia trade sl/ Calle Can valella n 22, Inca, 07300, Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. 
Intra-community NIF ES B 07850944.
All purchases and services are invoiced through this company. All items include VAT 21%. The invoice must be requested by email at canmonroig@gmail.com providing name, surname, address, ID, NIF or CIF.

Store
We sell antiques, vintage furniture, art and textiles. We have all the items for sale, either in our studio in Inca or in our warehouse. If you would like to see any of the items before purchasing, you can contact us by email. canmonroig@gmail.com to make an appointment in Inca. We do not currently have opening hours in our studio, but we do make appointments for Saturday mornings.

Antiques
Antiques and vintage furniture are objects that we have been acquiring over the last twenty years, many of which were already on sale in the antique shop we had in Pollensa between 1997 and 2007.
These are objects that show signs of wear and tear due to the passage of time. They have not been restored to look new, as this is not our philosophy. In each article we detail its particularities, do not hesitate to contact us for more information. 

Art
The works of art for sale, drawings, paintings, boards, painted canvases, photographs, sculptures, etc. are pieces by artists with whom we regularly collaborate and who have exhibited at Can Monroig. They are original and are for sale by agreement with the artist. Some photographs, such as those of Gabriel Ramon, include the frame and glass in the price. Drawings on paper are not framed, they are sent packed in cardboard or rigid board. All works can be viewed in our studio in Inca by appointment.

The textile section, still in development, includes old hand-woven items such as Mallorcan fabrics, artisanal pieces by Marie-Noëlle Ginard that are between twenty and thirty years old.
Fabrics created from antique and hand-woven textiles by Noëlle; tapestries of current creation by the same artist.
All the pieces are unique and original. They have been made with low-warp (horizontal) and high-warp (frame) hand looms. The materials used are mostly recycled; the finishes are irregular, with a sought-after imperfection. Some of these pieces need to be hung following precise instructions, as well as their maintenance.

Pick up at Can Monroig
We offer the option of collection at our studio in Inca or warehouse, thus avoiding shipping costs. Some large items have delivery in Mallorca included in the price. The buyer can also arrange shipping through their trusted carrier.

Shipping costs
Shipping costs to the Balearic Islands and the peninsula are included in the price in the Art/paper, photography and textile sections.

Shipments by local agency or carrier
If you wish to purchase any of our items and have them shipped to you, we can calculate the shipping cost and manage it. Please do not hesitate to ask.

Payment methods
You can make a payment via bank transfer, PayPal (PayPal also accepts credit cards), either by email or directly in our studio. We do not have a dataphone in our studio.

Return policy
In case of items damaged during transport
Large items such as antiques, vintage items, works of art, etc.  They cannot be returned without a justified reason such as obvious damage to the item due to poor handling during transport.
In such cases, the buyer must contact us as soon as he or she finds out that the item has been damaged during transport, so that we can arrange for the corresponding compensation with the carrier's insurance. For this reason, it is necessary to include in the cost of transport insurance that covers the total cost of the item.
Pollentia trade sl reserves the right to investigate whether the damage suffered by the item is due to a problem with packaging or handling during transport or whether the damage occurred subsequently.

Return of drawings, photographs and textiles
Our items are always unique pieces, so they cannot be replaced by identical ones.
Some art items such as drawings may be substituted with similar items of the same size and by the same artist. But these are exceptions. 

In the event of an error, such as sending an unsolicited item, please contact us within five days to arrange for the return of the item. In this case, the shipping costs for return and reshipment are borne by Pollentia trade sl.
In case of return due to damaged item during transport, please contact us within 5 days so that we can manage the return and the procedures with the insurance for its payment. The shipping costs for return in case of damage suffered during transport are the responsibility of Pollentia trade sl.
The costs of a new item with the same characteristics are borne by pollentia trade sl.

The content of the Website is protected by copyright, trademarks, databases, copyright and other intellectual property rights and you acknowledge that the material and content provided as part of the Website will be our property or that of our licensors.

You may download and display the content of the Website on a computer screen, store such content in electronic form on disk (but not on a server or other storage device connected to a data network) or print one copy of such content for your personal use. and non-commercial, provided that you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices. You may not reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the materials or content on the Website.

Privacy Policies see

The use of our website and contracts for the purchase of products through said website shall be governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising from or related to the use of the website or said contracts shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts and tribunals.

Access and navigation by a user on the website implies full, express and unreserved acceptance of these conditions.
