We work with the concept of wabisabi or the beauty of imperfection, we preserve and restore old buildings using traditional techniques, using old and modern ecological materials. All of this is accompanied by a different point of view that gives us a journey of more than twenty years in antiques, noble materials, decoration and art. The result is houses that recover the splendour of other times, simple and elegant at the same time, prestigious without any intention of prestige “Prestigieux sans intention de prestige” (André Ravereau about M'zab).
Putting the past in value
Facade of a house in Pollensa, the interior of the house was in a state of ruin.
We restore the interiors with original finishes and materials
Restoration of a sandstone arch and interior finishes with lime mortars
A comprehensive restoration allows us to recover original elements that were no longer visible.
Recover a Gothic arch and give it value by removing the forgings, gaining in luminosity and volumes
With the right techniques, a structure can be consolidated without losing the beauty of the old house.
History and contemporaneity in the same space
Searching for the beauty of imperfection
Preserve using the same materials with which the house was conceived
In the photo above: cement and plastic paint, in the photo below: lime and earth mortars, painting the portal with original colors
Attic converted into a bedroom with an integrated bathroom
Recovering materials and construction methods
