 Contemporary dance piece created and performed by Magdalena Garzon and Zaida Fernández in which they propose to link the architecture of the body with that of houses, giving life to spaces, allowing dialogue between the forms and contents of the place, and the architectures and resonances of movement themselves.

An innovative proposal with a purely Mediterranean sound, where flamenco, Latin jazz, Majorcan music, Andalusian music and Mediterranean folk music blend together in melodies, harmonies and rhythms, giving life to a fresh sound, inviting the public to travel between East and West.

 Some have spoken of Miquel Serra As the best kept secret of Mallorcan folk, others have said that he writes Mediterranean psychedelic singer-songwriter songs, and his music has been described as mature pop with influences marked by 90s rock; all of this combined with an austerity of means, he manages to gloss psychedelia, Mediterranean folk and pop with a deceptive simplicity and an overwhelming effectiveness.

American rock music
Friday, August 3 at 9:30 p.m. 

The former leader and composer of Murder in The Barn and Deep South in the nineties, produces an elegant pop rock with an American bent and is a key figure in the history of rock music in Mallorca. After touring England in July, Toni Montserrat will perform in the courtyard of Can Monroig, interpreting their own songs in acoustic versions and in duo format.

 

Steven Munar
Author's folk rock
Friday, August 10th at 9:30 p.m. 

In the nineties Steven Munar He fronted the band The Tea Servants, with whom he recorded five LPs and participated in the main festivals in this country. When the group dissolved in 2002, Steven began his solo career with a new formation, Steven Munar and The Miracle Band. He has published numerous albums, among which stands out “Time Traveller” and given countless concerts throughout the country, UK and Germany.At Can Monroig he will present his latest album “Violet Koski” in acoustic format and solo.

 

Pilar MacCarthy and Thais Morell
Brazilian music
Saturday, August 11 at 9:30 p.m. 

The singers and instrumentalists Pilar McCarthy and Thais Morell, accompanied on this occasion by percussionist José Llorach, with sounds that go beyond the joy and freshness of Brazilian music allied to the sophistication of jazz, also presenting elements of world music and modern music.

Acoustic Rock

Led by Alberto Vizcaino, Psiconautas offers us a selection of songs in the tradition of classical pop and rock composers, giving the lyrics a fundamental importance in their works. Original songs and reinterpretations of some reference artists form a new amalgam, at the same time classical, where poetry and music go hand in hand.
