Geeta, a Canadian singer, multi-instrumentalist and composer, currently resides in London where she recently recorded her latest album Light bulbs, produced by Marc Oliver at Plastic sound studios.
With clear influences from Bjork or Patti Smith, a deep voice with tragic undertones and imaginative, somewhat surreal lyrics, Geeta combines vocals, percussion and keyboards with electronic sounds.
In recent months he has performed in London, Paris, Italy, Canada and New York, among other places.
In 2014 we had the pleasure of performing two concerts by Geeta at Can Monroig. On that occasion Geeta, who was still living in Canada, included us in her European tour. The two concerts were attended by no more than twenty-five people per performance, but thanks to her music such a special atmosphere was created that we were all attentive, quiet and moved.
After her concert we thought, “What after Geeta?” That was the impact she had on us.

She also produced her own choir with 30 singers.

She is currently working on the production of her new album Magnetic Fields which should be released at the end of 2016. You can expect something epic for this next album.”
